Prime Edge Tile · Seattle & Eastside
Bathroom tile. Considered as a whole.
Bathroom tile installation for walls, floors and tub surrounds. We plan the surfaces together, so the pattern, edges and transitions feel part of one room.
A room, thoughtfully connected
One room. Connected decisions.
A bathroom tile renovation brings several surfaces into a small space. The floor meets the doorway, wall tile meets the tub, and cuts frame fixtures and storage. Prime Edge Tile works with homeowners in Seattle and the Eastside to bring these details into a clear installation plan.
Walls and tub surrounds
Tile height, pattern and finished edges are considered alongside the tub, vanity and existing openings. We assess the surface and plan preparation and waterproofing where the assembly requires it. Corners and changes of plane need appropriate joints, not just a continuous line of grout.
Bathroom floors
Tile size, floor buildup and transitions shape how the room works. Our tile floor installation service includes preparation and layout for porcelain, ceramic and large-format tile. Where heating is planned, the tile assembly and electrical work need to be coordinated before installation begins.
The shower within the room
A custom shower needs its own pan, drainage and waterproofing plan. Explore our custom tile shower installation service for niches, benches, curbless options and the details behind the finished tile.
Materials & finishing
Materials with room to work.
Large-format porcelain can create a quieter field of joints; mosaics introduce a smaller rhythm. We install sizes including 12 × 24 and 24 × 48 inches and discuss the pattern in relation to the actual room. Balanced cuts around a doorway or tub can matter as much as the tile itself.
Edge trim, 45-degree mitered edges, grout color and epoxy grout can be considered as part of the agreed scope. The finish should suit the material and the places where surfaces meet. See examples of tile layouts and finishing details in our Gallery.

Yes. Tell us whether you are planning a floor, walls, a tub surround or several surfaces. We assess how the proposed work meets the finishes you want to keep.
Do I need to choose every finish first?
No. Share the direction you have in mind. Tile dimensions, grout and edges can be discussed together before the installation scope is settled.
