A backsplash is a working surface. Careful preparation and suitable setting materials help it stand up to everyday cooking and cleaning.
Inspect and prepare.
We assess the wall condition and flatness, discuss removal or repairs where needed, and prepare a suitable surface. Countertops, cabinets and floors are protected before installation.
Plan cuts before setting.
Layout lines account for the countertop, cabinet undersides, range hood and existing outlets. We work through corner cuts and exposed ends before setting the tile with materials suited to the surface.
Grout, finish and clean.
Grout joints, edge trim and transitions complete the installation. Flexible joints are used where the assembly requires movement, and the work area is cleaned when the installation is finished.

You can start with a style or an idea. If you have chosen tile, share the product details or samples so we can discuss the layout, grout and edge options.
Can you work around existing outlets?
Yes. We plan tile cuts around existing outlet locations. Wiring, outlet relocation and other electrical changes must be handled by a qualified electrician.
What affects the estimate and timing?
Wall condition, tile material and size, pattern, exposed edges and the number of cuts all affect the scope. Preparation and curing also affect timing. We discuss these details before work begins.
Can you install tile over an existing backsplash?
The existing surface needs to be assessed first. Adhesion, flatness, added thickness and the condition of the wall help determine whether removal and preparation are needed.
